How to make a reservation
Send us an e-mail where you state the exact date of your stay and the number of people (max. 6) staying in the house, their names and birth dates. We need this data to calculate the tourist tax for your stay.
Please let us know if you wish to take our bed linen and towels for additional payment of 7 eur/person for the stay, or you will bring your own. Let us also know if you would perhaps like to rent our canoe boat for the additional fee of 50 eur for the whole stay.
As soon as we receive your information we will issue a total receipt. Your reservation will be confirmed once the total amount is paid. Unfortunately we no longer accept cash payments on arrival.
Cancellation policy
In case of cancellation from your part, up to 1 week prior to your arrival, we will refund 50% of your rent payment + fees (tourist tax, bed linen, canoe rental, cleaning fee). By making the payment for the reservation you agree to our cancellation policy.
If you perhaps feel uncomfortable with this payment method, you are also welcome to make a reservation through Airbnb agency (Fairy lake house Bohinj).
Price for rent
We offer a sliding price scale and wish to invite you to contribute in accordance to your financial capabilities within the given price range. If you can, please offer a higher fee and we will also be satisfied to receiving a lower fee per night. Your contributions will truly support our further maintenance and artistic renovation of the house. For additional information please contact us. Thank you!

Additional payments
- Cleaning: 65€
- The price for less then 3 nights is +15%
- Bed linen and towels: 7eur/person/per stay
- Tourist tax:
Adults: 2 eur/person/night
Children (7-18 years old): 1 eur/person/night
Children (under 7 years old): tax free - Payment for pet/dog (after approval): 50 eur*
- Rent a canoe boat: 50 eur for all days of the stay
*House pets: We had some bad experiences with guests bringing their pets, leaving a lot of hair in the house and not respecting our requests as owners. So we are not keen on having pets in the house. In case you really want to bring your pet, please let us know and we can discuss the option. Pets need to be free of any bugs, cleaned and are not to be carried in the upper floor rooms, on our couch or use any of our blankets and carpets.You need to bring your own blankets and beds for your pets and agree to respect this conditions and clean the hair behind your pet. Additional charge is 50 eur/pet per stay in case we agree you can bring them. Thank you for understanding.
