Communication with Javor prior to our arrival was great – as with the housekeeper Maja who was our local contact during out two-night stay and was really helpful. We had no problems at all locating it and despite the chilly weather the place was lovely and snug. The house is just as described – quirky and cute, with lots of homemade touches. The lake really is only minute away. All in all just what we wanted and more! Thank you so much Javor for letting us stay in your home.

Lovely stay in the Fairy Lake House. It’s in a perfect location on Lake Bohinj, a few minutes to the lake and in a small quiet town. The house has lots of interesting touches, both inside and out, that made it a special place to stay.

Our stay in this lovely house was exactly what we needed. The house was comfortable and cosy. I loved the kitchen with his different teas. we liked the oven and we have even made apfelstrudel:) I also liked the books in the house.

We had a wonderful time in your lovely house, thanks so much, the location is fantastic.
Everything was lovely when we arrived and Maya was very helpful. The only thing we missed a bit was a dvd player (sometimes very useful to keep the kids quiet!) but everything else about the house was perfect.

Our stay was wonderful! This house truly is stunning. So much attention to detail and cute touches; we loved every moment of it! The proximity to the lake was wonderful, especially when we canoed our groceries home on day 2 🙂 I will surely be back!

The lake house was absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous location. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to explore lake Bohinj, lake Bled and Triglav national park from. The house itself was compact but well designed and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. We loved the unique, handmade touches and sculptures inside and outside of the house. Maja, the housekeeper was very welcoming and helpful and Javor, was also very friendly and responsive in his communications. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wishes to explore Slovenia’s beautiful nature.

We loved the fairy lake house! It’s the best place to get away from it all. And still has two decent restaurants in walking distance. You can do great walks straight from the house and a supermarket is a few minutes drive away. The house itself is cosy and decorated with lots of love to detail.
